Quilt Show and Contest
During the annual Festival of the Mountain Masters
Friday November 27 and Saturday, November. 28
The Christian Menders of Harlan Baptist Church will host the annual Quilt Show and Contest in conjuction with the Festival of the Mountain Masters.
Categories are:
Applique
Baby Quilts
Crazy Quilts
Cross-stitch or embroidery
Hand-pieced and hand quilted
Hand-pieced and machine quilted
Kit
Machine-pieced and machine quilted
Novelty
Wall Hanging
Whole cloth
Entries will be accepted beginning Friday at 10 a.m. at Village Center Mall. Judging will be at 3 p.m. Ribbons will be awarded in each category.
In addition, a Best of Show ribbon will be awarded. Quilts will be evaluated in eight areas. Participants are asked to pick up their work by 4pm Saturday.
